What is it?
- These are cut flowers that vary year to year.
- Although some are intentionally planted every year, many are self seeded and come up themselves.
Examples
- Self seeded: Cosmos.
- Cosmos is a genus of plants containing flowering plants found in the sunflower family.
- Planted: Zinnias.
- Zinnias is a genus of plants containing flowers notable for their individual long stem and 12 petaled flowers found in a variety of distinctly bright colors.
How We Use It
- The flowers will be cut to make boquets that will be sold at the farmers market.
- The flowers also serve to beautify the garden.
