What is it?

• These are cut flowers that vary year to year.
• Although some are intentionally planted every year, many are self seeded and come up themselves.

Examples

• Self seeded: Cosmos.
• Cosmos is a genus of plants containing flowering plants found in the sunflower family.
• Planted: Zinnias.
• Zinnias is a genus of plants containing flowers notable for their individual long stem and 12 petaled flowers found in a variety of distinctly bright colors.

How We Use It

• The flowers will be cut to make boquets that will be sold at the farmers market.
• The flowers also serve to beautify the garden.
