Spinach:Harvest Season in Our Garden/How We Use It

Spinach has both a spring and a fall harvest. Ready from May through June and September through October.

The spinach is usually given to the dining halls, if they cannot use it it will be given to Amherst Survival Center.

Jalapeno Peppers: Harvest Season in Our Garden/How We Use It

Jalapeno peppers are ready to be harvested from August through October.
The peppers get divided between several different sources. Most are sent to both bluewall and the dining halls to be cooked with. Some is saved for our own use in making salsa (both for the farmers market and salsa con salsa).
