Bumblebee Tomato: Harvest Season in Our Garden/How We Use It
Bumblebee tomato will be ready to be harvested August through Obtober.
Some of the tomato will be given to bluewall, some will be frozen to be made into salsa for both the farmers market and the salsa con salsa event.
Basil: Harvest Season in Our Garden/How We Use It
Basil will be ready to be harvested July through September.
The basil will usually be sent to the dining halls, if dining cannot use it, it will be sent to Amherst Survival Center.
Marigold: Harvest Season in Our Garden/How We Use It
Marigolds will be ready to be harvested June through Obtober.
The marigolds mostly are not harvested, expect for a few used to make marigold crowns. The marigolds are planted to help keep nematodes away from the tomatoes.
